Newly Refurbished Quirky Luxury Barn
The Granary has an eclectic vibe all of its own. We have just refurbished the house with a new kitchen, bathroom, water system and decorating throughout. There is accommodation for 8 people in various different formats, as well as a beautiful garden to enjoy with a covered pergola seating 12 people. Our garden is secure and as dog owners ourselves we welcome well behaved dogs. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the walk onto the Wiltshire downs straight from the front door.
What an amazing place!
The house is a visual feast. Lamps made from musical instruments. Sculptures made from optical equipment. Fun posters and gorgeous cushions. We could have spent a month here and still been finding new fun things to see. A great kitchen, dining room and multiple sitting areas. And a lovely garden, seats under cover, lights, a fountain, it was hard to decide whether to eat inside or out. We had a fantastic time enjoying the beautiful Wiltshire landscape, walking around Avebury and up to the nearby White Horse.

We were in Wiltshire visiting family and touring round villages with a view to relocating. We really couldn’t have chosen a better base. The Granary was spacious, great for entertaining, quirky, lovely internal decoration (we enjoyed the guitars). Family came round with two small children who scampered around the colourful and well stocked garden. The property is conveniently located for Calne and wider Wiltshire. One thing that particularly impressed us was that it was very well stocked – bread, butter and jams on arrive, tea, coffee and sugar and much much more. Will definitely return with our rescue dog Jack. Thanks for the fantastic experience!
