Katrina29 December 2023Spent a few days over Christmas break at Elly's house and had a great time. very spacious, lots of interesting decorations and collectors' items to admire. Large, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds. Recommended for a larger family or group of friends.

Elly was a great host and as soon as we had arrived we were left fresh bread + little jams and honey.The house has fantastic amenities (probably the best I've ever been to) and the house was super clean with lots of bedrooms and beds.We loved everything about the house and had a fantastic time.Really impressed overall and would definitely come again!

We felt totally at home there.The kitchen is great, the crockery, plates, glasses are the best.The decor is brilliant, a true home and we didn’t feel like guests , but in a friend’s home.Elly’s was so helpful and made sure we had everything.We highly recommend Elly’s place.
Emily8 October 2023We had a fantastic stay at Elly’s place. We lucked out with the weather so got to enjoy the beautiful garden. The kitchen was very well equipped, the living room was super comfy and the beds were also incredibly comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Zarif24 September 2023We were a group of 6 friends coming for a staycation just for one night. The place was absolutely wonderful - very clean, comfortable, well decorated, and complete with everything you would need for a great stay.The kitchen was fully equipped and the living space was really nice to relax in. We were fortunate to all have our own bed: 2 singles and 4 doubles. There are 2 bathrooms at the property, one is an ensuite downstairs and the other is upstairs shared. There is heating through control of a smart thermostat.I have left 4 stars as one of the main reasons we went for this place was because of the bbq. Unfortunately the bbq was left very dirty and the cleaning brush was also dirty. Also one one of the grill plates were missing, so only half of the bbq area was used. However Elly was quick to apologise and it sounds like it was a one off. For future guests, please do not be put off I am sure it will be clean going forward.Overall we highly recommend this beautiful place!Load more
Absolutely fabulous
This gorgeous property is so spacious and well equipped. It is so quirkily decorated it is a trove of funky items. The garden is lovely to chill in making the whole stay so relaxing.

We were in Wiltshire visiting family and touring round villages with a view to relocating. We really couldn’t have chosen a better base. The Granary was spacious, great for entertaining, quirky, lovely internal decoration (we enjoyed the guitars). Family came round with two small children who scampered around the colourful and well stocked garden. The property is conveniently located for Calne and wider Wiltshire. One thing that particularly impressed us was that it was very well stocked – bread, butter and jams on arrive, tea, coffee and sugar and much much more. Will definitely return with our rescue dog Jack. Thanks for the fantastic experience!
